Coach Pitch (COED) Grades 3 & 4
This program is open and designed for children in 3rd and 4th grade. The program will take part as a team(s) in the IYB Kiwanis baseball league. At this level, players will hit "live" pitching from coaches.
Practices and games will be played on Tuesdays (games on occasions at Cass Park 6-7:30 pm) Wednesday (practices - at Trumansburg MS) and Saturday mornings (games - 9-10:30 am at Cass Park). Practices may begin on Wednesday, April 23rd.
Note* games may be scheduled on a Tuesday evenings at Cass Park from 6:00-7:30 pm. (Games will NOT conflict with spring track).
Players need to use his/her own baseball glove. Players may bring and use their own helmet and bat, but this is not required. Each player will receive a shirt and a hat.
Once teams have been made, the coaches will contact their players with a more detailed schedule for their season.
