Coach Pitch (COED) Grades 1 & 2
This program is open and designed for children in 1st and 2nd grade. The program will take part as a team(s) in the IYB Kiwanis baseball league. At this level, players will hit "live" pitching from coaches. All games in the IYB Kiwanis league will be played at the fields at Cass Park only.

Practices will be played on Thursdays (practices - 6:00-7:15 at Trumansburg HS) and games will be played on Saturday mornings (games - 11-12:30 pm at Cass Park) and on occasion, games may be scheduled on Thursday evenings at Cass Park from 6:00-7:30 pm.

Practices may begin on Thursday, April 24th.

Players need to use his/her own baseball glove. Players may bring and use their own helmet and bat, but this is not required. Each player will receive a shirt and a hat.

The league schedule will be provided to the coaches and players once the final schedule has been released. Games typically begin the final weekend in April and end the second weekend in June.

Once teams have been made, the coaches will contact their players with a more detailed schedule for their season.
